Carpentry / Joinery

Throughout the duration of the Carpentry and Joinery programme training will cover the use of hand tools and wood machinery.

Bricklaying / Plastering

Covers the use of equipment from foundation level through to the final plastering coat.

Painting / Decorating

The course includes preparing surfaces, applying primer, undercoat, gloss and emulsion to walls and ceilings.

Administration

Using a range of office equipment - fax, phone, photocopier, franking machine / dealing with clients.

I.C.T.

Using the computer for word processing / database, spreadsheet, internet, PowerPoint.

Furniture

Will cover design and manufacturing, how to produce hand crafted furniture.
