Skills for Life and Work will help you build the confidence and skills you need to find work. If you’re unsure about the kind of work you want to train for, it can help you to decide. As a young learner on a journey, this pathway can offer you experience of work alongside qualifications at Level 1. You can follow a vocational focused route or complete a broad based pathway, developing your skills and knowledge in a range of vocational areas. Simply put, you can gain valuable skills and knowledge whilst working and studying to gain employer recognised qualifications. With your qualifications, you can move into employment or higher level training.

There are lots of extras including a non-means tested weekly EMA, payment for attending work placement, all travel costs paid, flexible attendance and block placements, free PPE and tools and regular cash bonuses. Plus, we have no entry requirements!

Craft Training offers a wide range of qualifications allowing progression onto Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeships and Level 4+ through Higher Level Apprenticeships. This programme offers you a unique opportunity to become a star of the future, ensuring NI companies of all sizes have a skilled workforce which is highly qualified, both vocationally and academically.

ApprenticeshipsNI

As an apprentice, you will be a new or existing employee, in a Northern Ireland-based company, working with experienced staff to learn and develop your skills and progress in your career. You will be mentored by Craft’s qualified and knowledgeable staff to work towards achieving vocational qualifications and your Essential Skills in English, Maths and ICT if you need them. Craft Training will meet with you and your employer to discuss your training needs and will then develop an individual training programme just for you. We will be with you every step of the way throughout your apprenticeship to support you, ensuring you get the best out of your training programme.

Craft works closely with employers to deliver full on and off the job training via our Assessor delivery allowing all aspects of the ApprenticeshipsNI framework to be delivered in your place of work, where possible. You will achieve recognised qualifications which you can carry with you throughout your career.

CITB CSCS Testing

CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test

The CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test (CSCS) helps raise standards across the Construction Industry. The HS&E Test is an important way for construction workers to show employers that they can be safe on the job. The aim of the test is to examine knowledge across a wide range of topics to improve safety and productivity on site. The test is taken as a PC-based test at our CITB approved testing centre in Strabane.

Craft Training Ltd is a family run business, set up by husband and wife team Seamus and Marie Nealis in 1994.
